“As you would expect from a TECA, solvents, adhesives and the like hit you right in the face. I perceive tropical and sour fruits, spices, but also musty/medical notes. For its "age", I find what the TECA delivers really amazing, but I would probably like it better with more time in the barrel.”

“Man merkt dem Rum die kurze Reifung sicherlich an. Der Alkohol ist nicht ganz so toll eingebunden. Aber ich mag das Mark einfach sehr gerne. (überreife) Früchte, Gewürze (Zimt), Esterpower, leichte Süße. Vor allem im mittellangen Abgang ordentlich Zimt. Hat imo großes Potenzial bei langer Reifung.”

“I really like it. While the nose is still classic and pleasant (with cocoa/chocolate), I find the palate very complex with sweetness, spice, smoke and bacon, esters and chocolate. It's really fun. It then loses something in the finish. A wonderfully fresh TECA”
