"Difficult. Artificial on the nose (at least on mine), on the palate it could also be a whisky (and I'm really not a fan of that). TDL DNA almost imperceptible. I don't really warm to the rum. Update 30 minutes later, because I still had some in my glass: Wow, it's clearly improving towards TDL! I wouldn't have expected that. 3 points more."
"8,6:On the nose, the first impression we get is fruity and woody, as with dried(prunes) and overripe tropical fruits, citrus, roasted and spicy wood. On aeration, the molasses is vegetal with flowery, herbal notes. There are some medicinal notes with rubber, the fruits are candied. 8,7:On the palate, the attack is fruity and spicy with a pinch of salt, with overripe tropical fruits as passion fruit, mango, citrus with mandarine, the wood is charred with caramel, nuts, some smokiness and spicy. It is fresh and delicious. The molasses a bit bitter with vegetal notes like eucalyptus, as there are industrial notes with rubber, petrol. After resting the rum, it becomes dirtier, mustier, but covered with honey, so still very tasty.Yellow fruits stand out, pineapple is very ripe and some pear could be tasted. 8,5:The finish is long, round and tasty with tropical fruits, citrus , notes of roasted wood, spicy and musty, a bit vegetal, glazed with maple and caramelized..."

"On the nose: dried apricot, herbs and caramel. Full-bodied taste: peach, passion fruit, strong black tea, subtle menthol and petrol and overall quite dirty and intense. Alcohol is quite noticeable and could be better integrated. Aromatic but highly exciting interplay of sweetness, spice, freshness and fruit. Acts like a lovechild of Isautier Reunion and Trinidad TDL."
