“A rum tasted at the WLP. Nose of glue/solvents with earth and fruit in the background. The palate is quite lively, with a violent, earthy woodiness, but soon evolves into sweetness, smoke, fat and licorice. The finish is long on licorice and wood, followed by tropical fruit. The empty glass is rich and complex, a very fine rum with great expressiveness.”

“Anders, also näher an Südafrika, und etwas gefälliger als der Umganu (RX17378). Interessante, deutliche Rauchnote, dem Geruch der umgebenden Holzbox nicht unähnlich. Die bisherige Durchschnittsbewertung von 79 Punkten kann ich bestätigen. Tendenz nach oben, kratzt an den 80 Punkten, was ja "sehr gut" bedeutet.”
