What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 280,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

A really decent sipper and my Favorit from Takamaka (so far). I would describe it as a foursquare with less punch and some herbal notes (herbal juices). Not overly complex but there aren’t any off notes either. Definitely a „bang for your buck“.
A soft, not very outspoken nose with whiffs of tangerine, vanilla and wood spice. In the taste more power. Orange, vanilla, more spice and a bit of glue. The same remains in the finish, with now also a faint whiff of smoke.
Rum that won't excite you but is quite ok for the price. On the nose dried fruits, spices, wood, upon aeration develops more fresh tropical fruit notes, even bit of citruses and vanilla becomes stronger. The taste feels kind of flat, mostly about spices and wood.
This Takamaka didn't quite meet my taste. Predominantly spicy on the nose, vanilla is clearly recognizable here. Lots of vanilla on the palate and also a little sticky. But overall too sweet for me.
