Tasted Whisky Live, more incisive than its 15-year-old brother, but obviously less complex. Distilled in John Dore 1. Both selections are top-notch!
Gewohnt hohes Niveau von St. Lucia, wenngleich dieses Fass nicht in der Spitzengruppe mitspielt. Positiv hervorzuheben sind der komplexe und angenehme Antrunk mit den typischen Markern, jedoch etwas reduzierten Estern und weniger pointiert als bei den Spitzenabfüllungen. Alkoholintegration ist vorbildlich. Der Abgang ist nicht optimal, da eine karamellige Note den Rest überlagert, was zu Lasten der Komplexität geht. Für den aufgerufenen Preis gibt es bessere St. Lucias.
Super tasty St. Lucia Master's Selection ... pure John Dore 1 and really worthwhile and absolutely not bad. But not top class. Possibly not the full range that is possible with St. Lucia.
Classic Chairmans, for me slightly ahead of the older sister release from the New Vibrations series.
