This rum captivates with its complex nose of cinnamon, chocolate, and woody undertones, enhanced by mocha and nutty aromas. Its palate combines a vegetal base with nutty, chocolate, and raisin notes, enriched by cinnamon. "Another bottle that I finished a while back now and forgot to review. A bomb of Xmas spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and I mean a lot of them. Quite intense in flavor. Perhaps a little too much towards the dry spicy side of things at the end of the day. I enjoyed the bottle and do not regret my purchase but not something that plays on my mind some months after finishing it, hence the forgotten review!"

"Un superbe single cask (barrel) de chez JM, qui a Ă©normĂ©ment de personnalitĂ©. Le nez dĂ©marre sur un tableau gourmand, enchanteur, profond et complexe. La compote de fruits tropicaux et la marmelade donnent avec les agrumes une belle fragrance, tandis que la canne Ă sucre dĂ©voile une grande sucrositĂ©, soutenue par des notes pĂątissiĂšres, mielleuses et caramĂ©lisĂ©es. Si le nez Ă©voque Ă©galement un boisĂ© noble et Ă©lĂ©gant, câest la gourmandise et lâabondance des Ă©pices (cannelle, muscade, Ă©pices dâhiver) qui subjugue les narines, accompagnĂ©es de notes de cacao, de cafĂ© et dâamandes toastĂ©es. Une expĂ©rience olfactive au top. En bouche, les Ă©pices prennent le pas et relĂšvent le palais qui semble presque adouci par la canne Ă sucre, les fruits secs et les fruits exotiques. Le boisĂ© toastĂ©, le cacao, le cafĂ© et le tabac agrĂ©mentent le profil dâun cĂŽtĂ© plus sombre mais trĂšs attrayant, qui donne encore plus de profondeur. Lâalcool est remarquablement bien intĂ©grĂ©. La finale prolonge le plaisir du nez et du palais avec de belles notes dâagrumes (zeste dâorange), de fruits secs et tropicaux, de la verdure sur la canne Ă sucre, les herbes aromatiques et le tabac, mais aussi le boisĂ© Ă©picĂ© et le cacao amer, avec une touche de douceur sur le caramel. Câest un vĂ©ritable melting pot dâarĂŽmes et de saveurs, aussi complet quâĂ©lĂ©gant, aussi vif que dĂ©licat, un JM dans toute sa splendeur."
