“Neisson a clairement mis le paquet avec cette cuvée. Le nez est juste sublime avec une myriade d’épices en tout genre qui viennent agrémenter un profil très élégant et élaboré. Les notes pâtissières sur la brioche, la crème brûlée, le toffee, le miel et le caramel apportent énormément de gourmandise avec le chocolat, le moka et les pommes au four. Le boisé se fond dans la masse avec les fruits (secs, exotiques et agrumes) et un soupçon de fraîcheur. Difficile de faire plus complet sur ce terrain. L’attaque en bouche est d’une rondeur incroyable avec une superbe harmonie des saveurs en bouche. Les épices, les noisettes grillées, le chocolat, l’amande, la canne à sucre, les fruits confits (tropicaux et agrumes), le boisé, le tabac, les herbes aromatiques et le caramel donnent un grand concentré d’élégance et de complexité. L’alcool y est imperceptible, mais manque justement peut-être d’un petit remontant pour tonifier le profil. On retrouve une finale très aromatique, sur les agrumes acidulés, le chocolat, l’espresso, les épices en tout genre, le boisé fondu, la noisette grillée et le jus de canne. Il y a une petite note agricole sur les herbes fraîches et aromatiques qui revient en toute fin de bouche. C’est un souffle d’air sec mais très complexe. En somme, c’est un rhum de grande qualité, dont seul Neisson a le secret. Toutefois, la qualité ne justifie absolument pas le prix totalement indécent de cette cuvée, placée dans le segment du luxe démesuré avec une jolie carafe. Après la cuvée Nonaginta, c’est un autre carton rouge pour Neisson.”

“A great, well balanced rum. Maybe just a bit below Sacha, but really high level. Usual neisson notes, spices and sugarcane, the wood and some pastry notes. These neisson are surely a hit, despite high price.”
