“In der Nase reichlich süsse Noten von Vanille und Toffee, etwas Holz, dazu dezente zitrische Orangenaromen und leichte Anflüge von typisch dreckigen Teernoten. Sehr gut eingebundener Alkohol. Am Gaumen mundfüllend und kräftig mit Teer, röstigem Holz, ohne zu „dreckig“ zu werden. Dazu kühle Menthol- und Gumminoten, leicht erdig-torfig, dezentes Piment, sowie erneut elegante Süsse von Toffee und Vanille, die aber deutlich weniger präsent sind als in der Nase. Der Abgang ist angenehm langanhaltend mit Holz, Teer und Toffee-Süsse. Erneut leichter Rauch und Erdnoten. Zählt zu den richtig guten 1998er Caronis, sehr gelungene Auswahl.”
