How does this rum taste?
The LMDW rum, hailing from Guyana's Port Mourant distillery and bottled by Silver Seal, offers a distinct experience with its 32-year aging. Distilled in 1990 from molasses using a pot still, it features a prominent woody and barrel aroma complemented by leather and dried fruit undertones. Tasting brings robust barrel and leather notes, with a notable bitterness and subtle spiciness. While it delivers a traditional Demerara profile, the long aging imparts a pronounced woodiness that some find overly bitter. Though praised for its characteristic aroma, opinions vary on its balance and finish. This rum, with a 49.2% ABV, is best suited for enthusiasts of aged, complex profiles.

Wood galore
Smell is perfect PM, woody candy. Wood exceed everything. Alcohol is dully integrated
