“A rum tasted at the WLP. The nose is light, with pastries, tart candy and a distinct vegetal (angelica) note. The palate is marked by bitterness, astringent young wood and plum liqueur. The finish is long on bitter wood and tropical fruit. A very fine, rather bitter rum.”

“A very good Mount Gay that needs some time in the glass. But then it unfolds a pleasant potential. On the nose, I perceive a mixture of herbal aromas and tart fruits. There is also a hint of wood. On the palate, it is pleasantly soft and light. Spice, wood and vegetal notes dominate here. This continues on the palate at the beginning until tart/sweet dried fruit appears later! I like this Last Ward very much”
