“Der letzte in der Reihe der HV Hampden-Marks und ich muss sagen, bei weitem nicht mein Favorit. Die Nase empfinde ich eher unangnehm.. Sauerampfer-/ Kumquatmix mit Holz, zwischendurch etwas Marzipan, Ester-/Phenolgemisch. Dieser dumpfe säuerliche Ton überwiegt jedoch. Am Gaumen verteilt er sich zunächst cremig ölig mit einer dezenten süßlichen Note. Dann entwickelt sich eine Art medizinisches Aroma gepaart mit Olive, Piment und säuerlichem pflanzlichen Anteilen. Leichter junger Holzeinschlag ist auch vorhanden. Der Abgang ist medizinisch würzig.. Schade, als Abschluß der Reihe hatte ich mir erhofft.”

“mmh… i‘m a bit disapponited… This one takes the last place of the Hampden Velier series, for sure. Not for the low ester content, it just not knock my socks off. Also the price per value rating is horrible..”
