"After the discovery of the live whisky, which had thrilled me, I took the time to taste it again this evening. I'm still very impressed. A great ITP, especially on the nose. I really love this nose. Superb balance between fruit, wood and a gourmand side. On the palate, the woodiness tends to be a little too present, through a little bitterness that quickly blurs the fruitier aromas of the beginning. Too bad, but it's still a great rum. Another very fine plantation release in the top-range Jamaican range, at a price that's not at all unreasonable today for 20 years of age."
"Off the top of my head, I would say this is the best ITP I've had in a glass so far! Significantly better than the ITP-15 (which was rather disappointing for the price) but also even better than the already pretty good Rum Songe No.17."
"Ein weiterer Low-Ester Long Pond.
