How does this rum taste?
Plantation Jamaica (LMDW) is a 12-year-old Jamaican rum selected and bottled by Maison Ferrand. Crafted from molasses using a pot still in 2010, it offers a vibrant aroma of dried fruit, raisin, tropical fruit and citrus, while delivering tasty notes of orange peel and spice. Our RumX community appreciates its layered profile—balancing bright tropical sweetness with subtle hints of toasted wood and spice—though some note a slightly rugged, astringent finish. This intriguing blend invites rum lovers to explore a sensory journey that is both inviting and complex, with honest feedback reinforcing its character as a delightful, approachable spirit in our marketplace.

Rum and chocolate tasting by Rum Club Switzerland. A fruity nose of overripe pineapple and mango, with a few esters in support. An explosion of fruit on the palate too, with varnish aromas adding a little depth. The finish is too short and the fruit disappears too quickly. A pleasant, easy-drinking rum that also brings a certain complexity.
Tastes tropically ripe! I like it very much. Beautiful tropical fruit with lots of wood.
Full proof Jamaica blend with cognac cask finish - works very well.
