Minty, fruity TDL powerhouse
If you enjoy modern fruity TDLs with that minty marker, this is a great pick: big fruit, menthol and roasted notes at full power, once you let it breathe.
Those sensitive to high ABV, looking for an easygoing sweet sipper, or who dislike menthol, slight bitterness and a somewhat edgy balance.
On its own, a succesful experiment. The Caroni cask definitely left its mark. However, as much as we like Caroni, this fails to exceed the superb fruitiness of the younger ‘pure’ TDLs.

A lot of glue. Slightly sharp but the fruitiness is impressive here. If you prefer a bit more of that typical glue and varnish, this one is for you.
Problème d'intégration d'alcool.. Rhum peu abouti.. La trame est présente, le côté tdl y est le nez me parle.. Mais il est de loin d'être mon meilleur tdl.. Un gros manque d'équilibre et de justesse dans ce produit.. Je pensais que mon organisme ne supportait plus les rhums à plus de 63° (ce qui me surprenait et m'a fait un peu peur...) mais en retournant sur d'autres sélections ou autres gammes... Je vois que c'est vraiment un problème avec cette sélection... Dommage.. Car rapport qualité prix pour du 50cl.. On y est pas du tout.
Ce jus est plutôt bien fait , Une intégration d’alcool qui pourrait être meilleure encore, ça doit être un des seuls défauts que je lui trouve. Belle complexité, Beaucoup de fruits, Et du menthol… Habituel pour les TDL de cette époque Belle longueur en bouche J’aime bien
Très fruité ! Il faut bien le laisser respirer (au moins 45 min) c'est une explosion de cassis que fond de cerise. Puis viennent les épices et le mentholé, ce dernier vient rajouté une bonne dose de fraîcheur. C'est super bon. Très bon RQP 👌
