Our Rum & Spirits Enmore MEV 1990
Highly praised Enmore: dry, fresh and woody with well-integrated 61.2% ABV, combining fruity aromatics and spicy caramelized oak. A complex, balanced Demerara that many consider excellent value and seriously drinkable.
Fans of classic, dry Demerara rums who enjoy cask-strength power with well-integrated alcohol, layered fruit and wood, and are looking for a serious but not overly dark or oak-heavy sipper.

Very pleasant enmore. The alcohol is integrated very very well (61%!!). Is not a complex rum, but it has a lot to give. What I like a lot is that the long aging(barrel, oak taste) isn‘t that dominant as in other rums. Value for money = very good In the nose: it begins with some notes of licorice, minty, apricot, pineapple, vanilla, brown sugar, coffee and cedar wood (if you‘re a carpenter you‘ll notice it for sure). In the mouth: caramel, ok, licorice, black tea, peppery, marzipan, leather. Feeling: astrigend, dry, thick - full body Finish: oak (barrel), vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted and caramel.
A little Bomb in mouth 💣😍
Very fresh profile with fruit, wood and subtle spices. On the palate, green tea is added, moreover, the wood notes continue to develop elegantly and also bring subtle caramel, licorice and marzipan to light. Overall, the rum has something light, but without losing depth or complexity - on the contrary, the profile is complex and balanced. Great bottling.
