How does this rum taste?
The "Belize" rum, distilled in 2007 at Travellers Distillery and bottled by Spirit Gallery, presents a complex profile derived from its 14-year aging. With an ABV of 70.3%, it offers aromas led by vanilla and caramel, enveloped in burnt sugar and cocoa. The taste carries notes of coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate, and woody tobacco, harmoniously integrated despite its high proof. Users have praised its remarkable balance and extended finish, comparing its complexity favorably to other premium rums. A very fine expression of a Belizean rum. I selected it from Travellers' cellars in Belize, with a choice of all the vintages between 2006 and 2020. What struck me about this one was its complexity of taste, its long finish and its excellent integration of alcohol. The 70% comes through on its own (in blind tastings I'm often told 55-60%) and reinforces the complexity and body of the spirit. Very happy to have been able to select this rum.

Un rhum full vieillissement tropical avec des watts sous le bouchon tellement bien intégrés. Je trouve que c’est un travail maîtrisé digne de très grand rhum! Une touche de noix de coco et une très belle longueur en bouche. Conquis par ce Bélize
