#4895 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, vegetal, light sugarcane, fruits, faint caramel, light citrus, faint coffee. Palate Warm, round, light wood, faint chocolate, light sugarcane, spicy, fruity, light citrus, faint coffee. Finish Long and warm, light wood, faint roasted, light citrus, light sugarcane, spicy. This is a really nice rum and the price at release is pretty good.
Un rhum qui se cache bien au nez, j'aime l'attaque franche et son côté rond. La finale est courte.mais il laisse une agréable sensation de chaleur. Très surprenant au nez : je n'ai rien (unanime autour de la table) même après avoir essayé de fermer le verre. C'est un peu frustrant. En bouche attaque agréablement explosive. C'est vif, assez rond (un peu de crème pâtissière quand il s'est ouvert), quelques notes d'épices légères. Finale courte
Étrange sensation cet « insolite » plus sec que leur 3 ans… Nez discret peu expressif sur le végétal. Bouche effectivement sèche et il faut s’attarder sur plusieurs gorgées pour en apprécier la complexité. Finale courte
