"Wow, this one really stands out from the last bottlings. Hardly recognizable as Barbados (Foursquare)... spicy and almost notes as found in Guyana are clearly present. Complex also in the mouth sweet, smoky... Chocolate and some fruit .... WOW . I like this direction 👍"
"You can notice the impact of the maple syrup cask already in the nose. I like this nutty/walnut note, in the nose and on the palate! The finish is middle long dry and sweet. The alcohol is integrated very well and gives this rum more complexity. All in all it’s a wonderfull rum, but too sweet for me."
