Un rhum dégusté au Rhum Fest 2024. Un nez de banane cuite avec du cuir, des fruits et de l’acétone. La bouche est gourmande avec des pâtisseries et de la noix de coco et des fruits compotés. La finale est moyennement longue sur la gourmandise. Un bel exemple de blend réussi.
Association de deux précédentes sorties de Zéro Nine Spirits, cet assemblage est marqué par les oppositions de style : le fruité mûr et les phenols de Worthy Park, et les notes gourmandes, épicées et boisées du Travellers. Le nez fait bien la distinction entre les deux, de façon un peu tranchante mais en gardant une certaine rondeur. L’attaque en bouche est plutôt intense, toujours marquée par les contrastes. Toutefois, si les saveurs en bouche sont agréables, elles ne s’entendent pas forcément bien ensembles : on sent vraiment deux écoles différentes en bouche, ce qui casse l’harmonie et la structure du palais. Le fruité exotique avec les notes pâtissières et médicinales ne se mélangent pas aux épices, au bois, à la noix de coco et au caramel, ce qui est un peu troublant. L’alcool est bien intégré. La finale est longue, tantôt sur les fruits et les esters, tantôt sur les épices, le caramel, l’amande, le chocolat et les notes rôties. Un rhum qui n’est pas mauvais en soit, mais dont l’association n’apporte pas autant que ce qu’on pourrait espérer.
Schöner Belize-Rum mit toller Fruchtnote, die mit zunehmender Verweildauer im Glas aber etwas an Frische verliert. Weiss zu gefallen, indem das gewohnte Profil gekonnt entlang seiner bekannten Vorzüge ausgespielt wird: Kokosnuss, schöne Schoko-Karamellsüsse, dazu leckere Orangennuancen, Eichenholz und dezente Gewürze. Ausgewogen, süffig, gelungen.
Tasted at Rhum Fest Paris 2024 A nice blend, the worthy park of the blend is really pleasant and well integrated with the Belize..the Abv of the belizean beast is tamed down, and maybe the worst part is that WP hides almost all the Belize profile, you notice it only in terms of body and texture.
