“Guter kontinental gelagerter Caroni mit den typischen HTR-Markern. Am Gaumen mit angenehmer Süsse nebst den dreckigen Teeraromen und der für das 98er Vintage typischen Würzigkeit. Im Abgang mit erkennbarer Röstnote, die neben dem aromatischen Potpourri länger haften bleibt. Schönes Release, das einen Eindruck vom typischen Caroni-Profil verschafft, sich aber klar unterhalb der Caroni-Spitzenklasse bewegt.”
