#5409 19.06.2025 Running a few newer samples I got while relaxing to some nice music. Nose Bold, complex, wood, light roasted, light vegetal, faint caramel, light raisin, light grass, light anise. Palate Balanced, complex, light dried fruit, faint cherry, light grass, light plum, light vanilla, faint sugarcane. Finish Long, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, faint citrus, faint chocolate, light sugarcane. Empty glass Light chocolate, raisin, light licorice, faint smoke, light earthy, after a long while also prunes. Needs to rest for a good while to really settle and open up. Despite the ABV this rum has a punch and depth that I didn't expect, a must try if you get the chance and you love heavy and bold Agricole.
