The Antigua Distillery English Harbour Madeira Finish (Batch Number 003) 2017
Most enjoy its dry wood, dried fruits and value; some find the nose too alcoholic and the profile a bit simple. Consensus: well-made, sugar-free everyday rum with a nice Madeira twist.
Value seekers and beginners building their palate who want a dry, unsweetened rum with clear oak, dried fruit and spice, plus a subtle Madeira wine influence.

Dry, woody value Madeira-finish
If you’re moving from sweetened rums into drier territory, this is an easy upgrade: honest, sugar-free, good price, and just enough Madeira character to keep it interesting.

This English Harbour series (Sherry, Port, Madeira) are probably the best cheap rums you can get. Very solid rums for very good price. I always recommend it to beginners that want something sugarless.
Nose wood, spicy, a little Madeira; great on the tongue: lots of wood, more wood, subtle sweetness, nicely complex towards the back, a little spicy, but very exciting
Good rum. Very good value for money. Slightly alcoholic on the palate but still quite balanced. Lots of caramel and tropical fruits. I recommend tasting although my favorite remains the sherry cask finish.
