The "Jamaica" was produced in Jamaica at the New Yarmouth distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 12 years 2mo. The rum has an ABV of 55%. This is a limited release and there are only 319 bottles. 14 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.9/10. The rum smells like Ester, Fruity and Pineapple, and on the palate there is Ester, Tropical fruit and Fermented.

new Yarmouth in perfection despite only 55% "high proof" very fruity after fermented honeydew melon, pineapple etc and after raw cookie dough, honey and a slight saltiness as with brioche with salt butter! unfortunately horny. pity that I have not struck of this at the time to buy, because the also makes a 1A Mai Tai and Corn'n'oil 🤤😭
