How does this rum taste?
RumX members praise Collectors Series No. 17 as a well-rounded Australian single cask with fruity dried-fruit aromas, caramel and light roasted wood. On the palate it’s woody, caramel-led with chocolate and roasted notes, plus hints of cherry and marzipan, oily texture and a long warm finish. The high 64.4% ABV is intense but rewarding, especially with a splash of water, making it a great pick for Beenleigh fans.

Then the collection was expanded with a pleasant no. 17 - definitely worth tasting 😋👍
#4251 16.09.2023 Whisky N Rum Show 2023. This was a nice surprise especially when looking at the price tag. A well rounded rum with nice fruity notes and well balanced light roasted wood. Oily on the palate and a long warm finish. I picked up some marzipan in the empty glass.
Too spirity But very good
Not as fruity as the other Australians. Slightly less complex, more chocolaty, goes more in the direction of Foursquare. Alcohol could be better integrated.
