Interessante Abfüllung. Das Mizunara Fass kommt gut durch, schöne Ingwernote. Drängt sich aber auch nicht zu sehr auf. Mir persönlich etwas zu süß. Trotzdem ein gelungenes Experiment mit dem teuersten Holzfass das mir bekannt ist.
In der Nase viel junges Holz. Tolle Würze und eine angenehme Ingwer-Schärfe am Gaumen durch das Mizunara-Holz.

Palate Round, balanced, naturally sweet, light wood, faint roasted, light caramel, faint chocolate, faint coffee, light coconut, dried fruit. Finish Medium long, round, naturally sweet, light wood, dried fruit, faint coconut, light caramel.
Mizunara cask comes through bold. Nice acidity, intense tannins, light pepper and ginger spiciness balanced by not too much sweetness. Exciting! So far probably the first mizunara finish I've tasted in rum. It would be exciting to compare it again with an unsweetened single cask.
