Bellamy's Reserve Oloroso Cask Finish (Batch 2) is a limited edition rum with only 288 bottles produced, offering a unique sensory experience. This blend features notes of sherry, nut, and vanilla, with an undercurrent of coconut and mild tones, bringing a sweet, slightly nutty profile to the forefront. Users noted the influence of a mild sherry touch coupled with a nutty sweetness. While approachable and balanced, it may appeal more to novices due to its sweetness. Oloroso finish bringt sehr schöne süß salzige aber nicht zu süße Nuss (Mandel & Haselnuss), und Trockenfeige Noten und eine feine Säure mit ein. Gefällt mir deutlich besser wie der 1. Batch! Ist auch nicht zu süß und der Rum wird nicht komplett vom Sherry dominiert.
Nose Barbados with subtle sweetness, tongue similar, balanced, delicious, possibly a little too sweet and slightly spicy at the end
Very accessible blend with a strong Barbados backbone and a slight sherry touch. Recommended for beginners at a fair RRP.
Mir etwas zu süß. Ich finde Zimt dominiert ganz schön. Schmeckt nicht ganz typisch nach Oloroso Finish, eher etwas künstlich.
