8,3:On the nose, cherry and orange, with charred, smoky wood notes bump into our nosetrils, like roasted nuts, caramel, bacon, crunchy bread, slightly salty, then berries and yellow fruits, as the molasses is flowery. On aeration, the molasses is sweet with honey, fresh with tea and earthy with tobacco, barrel impact is still strong with burnt sugar, leather, coffee and baking spices, as plum pops out quite late. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is sweet and tasty with charred wood notes like caramel, sweet baking spices and apple pie, then leather and salty bacon, pairing fruits like berries, orange, dried apricots, raisins, prunes, when the rum is oxidized, joined with mango and coconut, banana, pineapple, passion fruit and pear from fruits, burnt sugar, marzipan and cocoa from charred wood, as the molasses is sweet with honey, some metallic patina might be recognized. 8,3:The finish is long, dry&tannic with cognac finish, the fruits are dried, then tropical and citrus, the wood is charred, smoky and spicy with caramelized burnt sugar, chocolate, roasted nuts, cola, pastry and leather, slightly meaty...
#4282 06.10.2023 Yet another One Time release that is doing pretty well. The price tag is really good compared to what you get. A medium light profile with nice fruit, caramel and light wood. The palate is spicy/warm with nice fruit. The finish is medium long and spicy with light dryness to it. The caramel in the profile is pretty nice. Draws nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some chocolate, nuts and very light marzipan.
Fresh, fruity and spicy taste of pear, berry, orange and hints of coffee, pepper. Long and dry aftertaste of spices, chocolate and licorice 👍
Sweetish pear nose. Something fresh and fruity on the palate. For me, also in the direction of pear brandy with something berry. Medium-long finish. Nice and round overall package. Doesn't really suit any taste.
