    How does this rum taste?

The Epris Distillery (AERB Futebol Clube) rum is a distinct Brazilian creation by the expert hands at That Boutique-Y Rum Company. Aged 11 years, this 54.4% ABV rum is crafted from sugarcane juice using a column still. It presents a complex olfactory experience with notes of dried fruit, roasted undertones, and floral hints, advancing into a richly layered palate of dried fruit, herbal, and barrel nuances, complemented by dark chocolate and coffee. While some found it reminiscent of heavier agricoles with bourbon traces, others noted its floral, yet surprisingly earthy finish. This limited 394-bottle release has intrigued rum enthusiasts, offering a unique tasting journey through layers of sweet, spicy, and woody profiles.

I find the nose extremely weak. I perceive light herbal and spicy aromas, as well as some hidden vanilla. The rum is somewhat more present on the palate. It is light and smooth, with a slight sweetness at the beginning, followed by cinnamon spices, some fruit and wood. That fits. The finish is on the woody, herbal side. A passable bottling

Franconian Tasting Gang A pleasant surprise for me. Didn't think it would taste so good, thanks Rodolphe for the recommendation. Price/performance is more than okay. Yeh Rod only for thought boys

Exciting! You can clearly taste the sugar cane, freshness, fruitiness, cinnamon and cardamom.

Nose is much worse than taste on the palate. Palate is sweet with fruits and bourbon notes.
