How does this rum taste?
The Royal Navy Rum 1953 Flagon is a historical Caribbean rum bottled by UK Navy SRD Taunton, with a robust 54.4% ABV. Crafted from molasses, it exudes aromas of molasses, oak, and vanilla with tropical fruit nuances. The flavor reveals molasses and vanilla, complemented by roasted and oaky notes. Users appreciate its historical significance, complexity, and well-integrated alcohol, though some find it lacks the complexity of other vintage rums. This rum is a testament to the rich heritage of navy blends, featuring pronounced Guyanese and Jamaican flavors, making it an intriguing choice for those interested in vintage spirits. To Multi Distilleries
Delicious navy rum with sweet Demerara backbone, which is gallantly complemented by tropical fruits. In addition, present spicy notes and subtle latte flavors...not settled in the Champions League, but this is still really fun!
Krasses historisches Destillat. Viel Holz, viel Gewürze, viel Tannine, recht adstringierend.
