The "Exception" was produced in Barbados at the Foursquare distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Famille Ricci. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 60,1%. Stable foursquare 2005, could be a little rounder but still quite tasty. The finish is a little too bitter and roasty for me.
Stabiler und guter Foursquare. Keine überfordernde Nase und Gaumen. Sehr harmonisch. Der Nachklang hat mir fast noch am besten gefallen. Schöne Bitternoten, ein wenig nussig und leichte Ledernoten. Alles in allem sehr stimmiger Rum.
