It was distilled from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 1 years 9mo. The rum has an ABV of 64,8% and the mark is SWR. The rum smells like Burnt sugar, Barrel and Oak, and on the palate there is Roasted, Dried fruit and Oak.

Beautiful chocolate and above all vanilla from a fresh oak barrel. Perhaps a little young. Alcohol well integrated, but you can clearly taste the column.
A lot of oak and barrel both in the nose and mouth. ABV well integrated so I did not mind the 64 %! A lot of rum in this glass, I like it ;-)
Yes, the Skeldon Demerara Guyana taste is there for the very first taste. But then come the sharp, wild and alcohol bite. IMHO - it should stay in cask for few more months/years to make it calm and mild.
