RumX members keep circling back to chocolate, vanilla, and caramel on both nose and palate—think “kräftige Schokoladen- und Haselnussnoten” (primus) and “ein Schwall Vanille beim ersten Riechen” (Harald). Flashes of orange peel show up, alongside subtler tones like minzfrische and woody creaminess; cappuccino and baking spice also make appearances. The profile leans sweet and creamy at first, with a drier, woody finish that some describe as “trocken, würzig und holzig mit Karamell”. There’s balance, but several note the alcohol isn’t fully integrated and some wish it had more punch.
