How does this rum taste?
RumX members find Yaku Wari Untamed Rum bold and very cask‑driven, with dried fruit, caramelized sweetness, honey and plenty of oak and barrel notes. The earthy Maggi note on nose and palate divides opinions but gives it a very unique character. At 7 years, cask strength and single cask with natural presentation, several reviewers see it as good value and even use it for experimenting with homemade blends.

Nose : very similar to Velier Long Pond 2019 STCE to me Taste : dried fruit and a bit of oak at the end but not too much for virgin cask. Conclusion: single cask, non chill filtered, natural colour, 7 yo tropical aging, 50 plus abv for 55€ that's one of the best value I've seen in a long time, please more of this !!!
