Verlorener Stil, unbekannte Destillerie. Keine Vergleichsmöglichkeiten die mir einfallen. Am ehesten mit einem Galion oder Courcelles vergleichbar. Französischer Stil, fleischige Umaminoten. Bisschen Rauch und Bbq Röstaromen. Spürbar steinalt. Schwer zu bewerten auf einer 100 Punkte Skala. Tolle Erfahrung
What a super experience and how good this is after all that time!
È entusiasmante per me poter provare un Rhum così vecchio che potrebbe provenire da una delle distillerie distrutte dall'eruzione del Monte Pelée nel 1902. Al naso è profumato/floreale con sentori medicinali ed empireumatici, si riesce a scorgere anche qualche frutto lontano e del tabacco/cacao/caffè/legno. Il tutto leggerissimo e delicato, si fa fatica a scorgere qualcosa. Al palato è morbido e floreale (fringipane) con qualche nota empireumatica e di liquirizia/spezie, ma il tutto molto leggero e diluito. Penso sia dovuto anche al fatto che abbia troppi anni e la conservazione non può essere perfetta, ha perduto qualcosa di sicuro. Nel bicchiere vuoto lievissimi stagionati. Un profilo che comunque non si discososta tantissimo da altri rhum dell'isola prodotti negli anni 60/70. Probabilmente una bottiglia appena fatta e aperta al tempo avrebbe avuto un voto tra il 7 e l'8.
