Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 38 Belize Rum

Dieser Travellers ist tatsächlich der beste, den ich bis jetzt im Glas hatte ! Und tatsächlich auch eine der ältesten Belizeabfüllungen, die ich in der Datenbank gefunden habe und zu dem noch für 10 Jahre tropisch gelagert. In der Nase hat er eine angenehme Klebstoffnote, die mich an Bourbon erinnert, zusammen mit Holz, hellen Früchten und etwas Kokos - wenn man das Rum-Depot betritt, riecht es so ähnlich 😇 Am Gaumen habe ich richtig intensiv Vollmilchschokolade und Kokos - Bounty trifft es hier richtig gut ! Der Abgang ist sanft und angenehm, und bleibt auch, geschmacklich richtung Vollmilchschokolade, wie deren Schmelz noch eine Zeit lang auf der Zunge liegen, zudem nehme ich noch etwas Tabak wahr. Der Alkohol ist super eingebunden, es macht wirklich spaß, sich mit diesem Rum zu beschäftigen.

In addition to dark chocolate, which I often have in my mouth with Belize rum, there is also sweet orange and a little coconut. The alcohol is so perfectly integrated that you can concentrate fully on the aromas. Young wood remains in the background in the taste and harmonizes well.

Rumclub Belize No. 38. Wow, ein echt klasse Teil. Hat eine echt tolle Nase bestehend aus Schokolade (dunkel) und Karamell. Außerdem leicht holzig. Am Gaumen dann ebenfalls Schokolade und gebrannten Zucker. Lecker.

Tag 9 RumX Adventskalender Hier muss man erstmal dazu sagen. Dieser Rum muss stehen und zwar meiner smeinung nach 45 min. Dann ist dieser Rum ein völlig anderer. Unfassbare Kokosnuss und geile Karamell/Nuss Mischung mit ein bisschen Cappuccino. Völlig unterschätzt und ich muss tatsächlich sagen ich hatte in vor einer Zeit schonmal im Glas da hat er mich bei weniger Standzeit nicht überzeugt. Für mich Spitze!!!!!!!

With Belize my love started and I feel directly back. Coconut, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and a great spice with power. Makes really fun!

Here is the next rum from the RumX Advent calendar. You can taste some coconut on the nose. In the taste, however, chocolate dominates but coconut is also recognizable. Very good rum

#4229 Wow, this is a really nice rum. I'd say that the price to quality is very good. Fruity and fresh with nice roasted wood. The palate is warm/spicy with an oily feel and natural sweetness. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some chocolate and cherries. Just went back to the glass and there is a nice minty note now as well.

8,4:On the nose, the first impression we get is a toasted coconut, roasted wood, out of it vanilla, chocolate, caramel and roasted nuts, accompanied with some glue. When aired a bit, menthol is obvious, some spice, orange, molasses is interwoven with confectionery like gingerbread. 8,6:On the palate, the attack is pleasant with toasted and roasted wood, coconut, dry, the sugar is burnt, spicy and fruity with yellow fruits, citrus, especially peaches, as the bourbon ageing is strongly felt, some dried fruits. The Spanish style is obvious, as the ron is a bit sweeter. There are caramel, chocolate, roasted nuts, vanilla, delicious nougat, after some rest, there is a bit of a bitter cocoa and inevitable Belizean menthol. It is very complex, with many faces, as one of them shows also confectionery with gingerbread and banana bread, the other vegetal notes as tea... I like it.... Very tasty. 8,6:The finish is long and woody, dry. All notes from the palate continue, with some mineral and floral addition... Coool🤘...

In der Nase machen sich die 62 ABV bemerkbar und verdecken die Kokos und süßlichen Noten. Am Gaumen dann total schöne Schokoladen und Kokos Noten mit dezentem Holz und leichter süße. Lässt sich super sippen! Echt eine gelungene Abfüllung!

RumX Adventskalender Türchen 9. Sehr sehr holzig-karamellige Nase mit Cola und etwas Würze. Im Geschmack eine echte Schokobombe, veil Karamell, Holz, Mokka, Malz. Dabei Trocken. Abgang bleibt lang. Echt schön.

Super rum! On the nose first coconut and old wood. At the same time mega intense without unpleasant alcohol note. On the palate then a little less going on. Still fruity and also the coconut note is there again. The finish is long. The alcohol is in my opinion super integrated, which is not always the case with barrel strengths from Belize. Sehr angenehmer Zeitgenosse. Unkompliziert, aber schön intensiv.

Very drinkable Belize, powerful with very balanced sweetness that never becomes too flat. Fun to drink, works despite (or perhaps because of, as some would argue) the high alcohol content still very well as a pleasure rum. Successful selection!

Only just beaten into second place in the blind tasting (4 rums from Belize). Very nicely round and deep. However, I can't taste any coconut.

Der macht Spaß! Alkohol könnte vielleicht etwas besser eingebunden sein, aber schöne typische Kokos -Aromen vermischen sich mit Schokolade und Holz.
