“Kann erwarteterweise nicht mit dem parallel verkosteten HV EMB 2010 (RX227) und schon gar nicht mit den fast durch die Bank ausgezeichneten Clarendons der Jahre 1995 und 1997 mithalten; trotzdem solider Rum, der nicht zuletzt durch seine leichten Pfirsichnoten zu gefallen weiß.”

“With enough time in the glass, the nose becomes less „bitey“ and the bottling develops the common continental fruit basket alongside Clarendon herbs and medicinal notes. Despite the reduction in this bottling, a harshness remains even after quite some time in the glas. The reduction works pretty good on the palate making this one easy drinkable. Fruits, spices and herbal bonbons. Not bad.”

“Compared with RX16283 2010 Clarendon. Well, what is this one. A little sweet, a little bitter. Alcohol not optimally integrated. No fish, no meat. I can't imagine being able to remember this rum again. Plus the current price situation. For 60€ I would have seen an entry-level single cask here. As it is, this is a failure without any notable flaws.”
