Cadenhead‘s Clarendon Clarendon Distillery 2010
Highly regarded for its expressive herbal-fruity nose and solid Clarendon character. The palate is drier, tea-like and slightly bitter, rewarding patient tasters who give it time in the glass.
Fans of drier, herbal Jamaican rums who enjoy tea-like bitterness, medicinal notes and moderate cask strength, and don’t mind giving a pour plenty of time to open up.

How does this rum taste?
Dry, herbal Clarendon for patient sippers
If you enjoy Clarendon’s herbal side more than full-on fruit, this is a strong pick—think Earl Grey, herbs and a touch of tropical fruit once it’s had time to breathe.
Those sensitive to 55% ABV, expecting a sweet fruit bomb, or who dislike bitterness, iodine and medicinal notes in their rum.

Weinbergpfirsich an der Nase und blumige Noten.
Initially I found it kind of flat but leaving it there for a half hour opened it up really nice, adding flowery notes, some menthol and violets to the molasses-vanilla base. For half the price I would take a bottle.
#4758 22.06.2024 Nice tasting afternoon and evening with Hannes at the shop in Odense. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, fruity, spices, floral, light vegetal, faint citrus.. Palate Warm, medium spicy, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, pineapple, light floral, faint caramel, light vegetal. Finish Medium to long, light wood, fruits, spice, faint chocolate, faint floral.
I like the nose very much. Fruity, medicinal and very herbal. Then powerful, furry in the mouth. That's where he swings the club. 3 bags of Earl Gray brewed for 20 minutes.🇯🇲 Warm finish, beautiful caramel notes remain. Very good monymusk. Thanks to Bonn!
