How does this rum taste?
Exception" is a distinguished rum crafted at the T.D.L distillery in Trinidad, distilled in 2003 from molasses and aged for two decades. Limited to 192 bottles, it displays complex aromatics and flavors, including pronounced mint, tropical fruits, and woody notes with hints of medicinal and citrus nuances. Famille Ricci bottled this at cask strength with an ABV of 61.9%. Users appreciate its fresh and balanced profile, with a well-integrated alcohol presence. This rum’s nuanced complexity positions it as a standout among Trinidadian rums, yet its scarcity and price are noted considerations. Un excellent tdl. Le nez très marqué sur le cassis. La bouche est une symphonie de fruits rouges, fruits tropicaux, menthe et caramel. Une belle longueur. Bravo pour cette sélection. Un des plus beaux embouteillages de l année.

Mint and fruit bomb. I need to compare it with Whisky Jury 2003 because its very similar. TDL 2003 at its best.
Really fine, typical, but expensive TDL. Can actually play with the big kids.
