8,3:On the nose, largely melted vanilla with some banana spreads across the entire surface of the glass, in a clear, luminous, yet velvety and mellow profile. The American oak barrel gives us a tender fiber, like a blond tobacco scented with sweet spices and peaches. With aeration, the tobacco's soft, vegetal character melts and is amply diluted, pampering our nose with silky, perfumed notes. Spices return in small bursts, accompanied by nuances of red fruit, gradually building a more structured, intense profile. 8,4:The palate is quite powerful on the attack, so the rum rolls off the palate in a massive, round, warm rush. The vanilla and coconut milk, caramel has just come out of the pan, and is still burning hot, sticking to the wooden spoon, and likewise to the taste buds. Candied it becomes! The nougat forms and immediately melts, spreading hazelnut and toasted almond flavors. As we rest it, becomes a bit musty/ashy.
