I tried this rum from Lidl considering the decent price for a rum so called "XO". I don't know where it comes from but it tastes like a bit like ron from Puerto Rico or Republica Dominicana. At the beginning, the taste is quite good with a bit of wood, vanilla and cocoa. For me, the defect is that it tastes too much alcohol to drink neat. It is better cut with lemon juice ou mix with other juice. To conclude, not a good rum even for the price.
