"initially a strange note, which I locate somewhere between fennel and alkali. But this fortunately dissipates quite quickly. Then come the usual HLCF notes like fermented fruit, citrus jam, pineapple, pastry. On the palate, citrus, barrel and a salty finish. Overall decent, but it is also already missing a good bit to the excellent 92s HLCFs of Nobilis or RumClub (Ed. 18)."
