09.05.2016 Evening out with colleagues and good rums. Notes Light in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, light glue, fruity, ester, banana, overripe, light floral. Palate Oily, warm, ester, light medicinal, fruity, citrus, naturally sweet, faint floral, light chocolate. Finish Long and warm, oily, medium dry, fruity, wood, olive.
One of the most prominent features for me was the taste of a candy called atomic fireball - quite a bit of cinnamon.
very fruity and balanced on the nose. On the palate the wood dominates the fruits, very dry and a bit saulty. A very smooth hint of esters on both palate and nose.
A Hampden a little too floral and grapefruit for my taste. It's still good but not top notch.
