Un très bel opus agricole de la part de la distillerie! Un nez fruité et épicé. Le calvados est bien intégré et apporte une très belle touche à la dégustation. Une très belle finale en bouche typique des plus grands Savanna!
Ježiš to je dobrý! Krásná chuť calvadosu a koňaku. Jablíčka, plnost, krásný plný dojezd. Tohle chci pít celý večer. Alkohol akorát tak na plný závěr kde ustupuje calvados a zůstane v puse plno koňaku. Jo a ta vůně ta jse snad ještě lepší.
Au nez clairement le passage en fut de Calvados est présent. On a également le côté boisé, des notes de fruits confits et rouges. On sent que ça va être puissant également, le côté brut de fût se devine facilement. L'attaque est puissante on sent les watts mais sans trop d'agressivité non plus. Le côté calvados est marqué, les fruits rouges sont présents, la canne à sucre également, un côté végétal et le boisé. La longueur est belle s'étire en laissant un goût de fruits rouges, de bois et de Calvados. Un rhum assez complexe mais qui tient ce qu'il annonce au nez. Ne pas hésiter à lui laisser un temps d'aération pour développer son côté aromatique et le rendre un peu moins puissant.
Reunion! A travelers dream. Amazing wild life and endemic species. I like the theme of the bottle design. Beautiful sea turtle. Do I like the rhum? I do. But it’s not easy to like it. The alcohol is too dominant, the bitterness of the cask slightly too present. But it’s complex and the calavados / apple flavors are quite unique. Regrettably, the strong abv kills a bit the joy. But hey, a nice rhum, don’t get me wrong. But not easy to like.
