Chocolate, caramel, yellow fruit. Better than expected!
Green apple and baked apple meets freshly ground black pepper glazed in honey. Beautiful thing actually also as drinking strength and to date one of the best and most complex. Would have but quite a few % more tolerated...
The nose has a lot of sweet tobacco and freshly cut green apples. Honey and ginger following. Reminds me of younger El Dorados but with a green fruit twist. The apples are here to stay on the palate. Lemon peel and honey come a little later becoming sweet nougat in the back end. The finish is quite short. The honey is dominant here. The apple note seems to fade into a baked apple and the wood starts to show its face right at the end. Overall. I really like this rum. Not something that will amaze but its got some nice notes and it's easy drinking. Not too distracting if you were watching a movie.
