“Vor 5 Monaten schrieb ich nach der Verkostung einer Probe von RX15460: "Ich gehe davon aus, dass thailändischer gelagerter Rum im Kommen ist und wir noch Einiges aus dem Land erwarten können." Heute kann ich das nur bestätigen: Was für ein toller, geheimnisvoller Rum, was für eine positive Überraschung! Da man über den Rum nichts außer dem Herkunftsland kennt, kann ich fröhlich und dankbar auf der Basis meiner Wahrnehmung spekulieren: Der Rum wirkt auf mich sehr alt, eher 24 als 12 Jahre. An Nase und Gaumen nehme ich eindeutig reife Kirschen wahr und schweren, eher süßen Rotwein - vielleicht ist er 24 Jahre in einem thailändischen Rotweinfass gereift? 😉 Wie gesagt, nur fantasievolle Spekulation. Aber Fakt ist: Das ist ein Rum, der auch die Erwartung von fortgeschrittenen Rumtrinkern erfüllt. Probiert ihn! Aber Achtung: Es gab nur 72 Flaschen ... Einmalig.”

“Schöner Column Rum mit Holz, Karamell, Vanille, Gewürz und auch etwas Kokos und Banane. Am Gaumen noch etwas scharf und ungestüm, aber toll für den Preis.”
