Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve
A fruit-forward, subtly funky Jamaican with pronounced banana, wood, and spice, softened by creamy mouthfeel. One to try if you enjoy balanced tropical notes with restrained funk.
Easygoing banana, fruit, and gentle funk for Jamaican newcomers.

How does this rum taste?
- Nice entry to Jamaican rums
- Very gentle yet very full-flavored
- Intensiv nach tropischen Früchten
Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve gets called out for its "intensive tropical nose" and a lot of the talk revolves around banana, wood, spice, and balanced esters. Typical Jamaican funk is present but dialed back, making it "very nice, intensive tropical nose and well balanced taste" (Jindrich Strobl) and an approachable sipper. The profile mixes overripe banana, apple, and wood with a creamy texture that some find "gentle but friendly" (Johan Larsson). While some say the finish can be short or thin, there’s agreement this is a solid intro to Jamaican rum—especially if you want banana and tropical fruit without overwhelming ester punch.

"Interesting rum mainly because I found it an unusual Jamaican because of some of the fruity notes. As the mere novice that I am, at a blind tasting, I would have mistaken it for an agricultural. Very light toastiness. Medium-long finish with a prevalence of lychee."
"Very soft, round and complex Jamaican from probably the most sustainable rum distillery in the world. Nice long fruity finish with the typical banana aromas. Fun to drink!"
"Really good starter rum, especially to enter in the wonderfull world of jamaican rums. Very pleasant to drink. Nose is fruity with some esters and a light floral, marzipan, woody notes. The various notes of trop. fruits, esters and wood contiues in mouth. The finish is medium long with various notes. Perfect in combination with a mild cigar👌🏻👌🏻"
"After a long time, I have once again torn open a rum that accompanied me in my early days. For the price, this is a real underdog for me. With a little more ABV, it would be an absolute cracker. As a mixer, it's excellent and all for under €40 at the time"
