“Surprisingly smoky, almost peaty. The plum notes are still present, but already much less present than in the somewhat younger bottled REV representatives of the 1994 vintage. For me, probably something like the single malt among the REVs, for what its worth. No absolute REV top class, but that does not change the undoubtedly existing class.”

“#4176 This is a great release though the price ia a bit high I love it. Kind of heavy wood without it being too dominant and the on top nice fruits and this nice medicinal touch. The world's best but not cheapest cough syrup I'd say 😊 Very long finish.”

“I have to adjust my rating once again. This time I tasted it sober and not after 10 other rums. Compared to the first RA, it has nowhere near as much plum and is already borderline bitter on the finish.”
