The "Kill Devil" was produced in Barbados at the Foursquare distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses and then aged for 9 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. This is a limited release and there are only 302 bottles.

“05.01.2019 A very nice tasting event where I met new local rum nerds. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: light, wood, floral, caramel, pineapple, spice. Palate: light, wood, coconut, caramel, chocolate, pineapple, spice. Finish: short to medium, light, sweet, dried fruit, chocolate, caramel.”

“Na ja ist ganz in Ordnung. In der Nase ein Hauch von Zitrusfrucht. Im Gaumen ebenfalls Zitrusfrucht und fruchtig im Allgemeinen, aber meinetwegen Meinung nach überwiegt hier der Alkohol, welcher nicht wirklich gut eingebunden ist.”

“Halt etwas langweilig durch die 46%. Bin generell selten begeistert bei Rum's unter 55%. Natürlich gibt es auch da Ausnahmen, wenn genug Alter da ist und vor dem abfüllen verdünnt wurde.”
