#4820 17.08.2024 Tasting with Mads from Romhatten. This one was in the bar after the tasting finished and we had a burger 😊 Nose Intense, fresh, fruity, mint, spice, light wood, faint smoke, faint caramel, banana, varnish. Palate Oily, medium intense, balanced, complex, wood, light roasted, varnish, mint, light caramel, faint smoke, light tobacco, light orange. Finish Long and warm, wood, mint, fruits, banana, light caramel, faint tar. ABV is very well integrated.
Delicious TDL that shows the usual mix of fruit, wood, mint and caramel nicely ... for the price that is called, but for my taste clearly overpriced. Simply a better TDL. Not too minty with already charred notes with tar on the finish.
A lovely and pleasant symphony of flavours. Ripe tropical fruits intertwine with notes of dark chocolate, toasted oak and a touch of tobacco, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a gentle warmth and a long-lasting delicious taste impression.
How different the 91 TDLs are! Often very boring like a Spanish style - this one is much more complex with minty parts. Very good!
