It was distilled from Molasses and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. It's very good, with the usual distillery markers, but at 46* it's too reduced for my taste.
Sehr schöner Trinkstärke-Caroni. Zugänglich, auch wenn die dreckigen Noten präsent sind - tolle Mischung aus Süsse und herb-würzigen Noten. Gefällt mir gut. Gute Zeiten waren das, als es derartige Abfüllungen zu erschwinglichen Preisen gab.
Decent nose but rather flat in the mouth. A good example of how a reduction can render a rum light and flat.
