How does this rum taste?
Bold, smoky dried-fruit Diamond
If you enjoy robust Demeraras like other Diamond or Enmore cask-strength picks, this is a natural next bottle—similar dried fruits and wood, but with extra smoke and intensity.
Those sensitive to high ABV, looking for an easygoing sweet sipper, or who dislike smoky/medicinal notes in their rum.

#4148 LMDW picked a nice cask here. The price is a bit high but overall OK I think. A well balanced rum once rested for a good while. Nice dried fruits mixed with spices and some caramel. I like the medicinal note and licorice in the profile because it somehow freshens it up. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some smoke and chocolate to it.
Blind taste. Rather disappointed by the smokiness
