On The Rocks: On the nose mild sweetness with a subtle hisbiscus floral undertone. Taste has a strong alcoholic presence with a slightly sweet flavour that quickly moves into a slightly bitter undertone with mild fruit and floral notes with a delayed smokeyness. There is a long finish that evolves into brief moderate fruit notes that quickly subdues into more neutral floral notes then back into a slightly sweet flavour with a lasting smokey tones. This is quite a complex rum with multiple stages of flavours that come and go. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose there is mild/moderate floral notes. Taste reveals a moderate oak flavour with some mild sweetness and floral notes. Finish is medium with sweetness. It is very smooth and you get some great flavour…but you do lose a lot of complexity. Based on this I suggest you drink this on the rocks instead of mixed.
